The progressive post-rock band from Melbourne have added new layers to their sound with this album. Purple Haus is characterized by its epic soundscapes, intricate melodies, powerful rhythms and is their most synth-heavy so far.Joining Bear the Mammoth for the night will be the heavy rockers from El Colosso, Melbourne post-rock band Treebeard and the progressive metal band Black Sea of Trees.Following this show, Bear the Mammoth will be touring their album across parts of Australia and will be bringing with them their newest album and merchandise, including new vinyl, CDs and T-shirts.Bear the Mammoth is a band that is constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries of post-rock. Their music is both challenging and rewarding, and they are sure to continue to be a force in the post-rock scene for years to come.
