Midnight People

The enigmatic live project of Fatima Yamaha plays Room 1 on 12th August, alongside Italian-born DJ and Sonic Dream Recordings founder Budino, now much-beloved club regulars Make A Dance, and Midnight People; all too familiar with a Room 3 takeover. The tale of Fatima Yamaha began with the release of a handful of records on D1 Recordings, followed by a hasty move to the sidelines. However, after a lapse of eight years, Magnetron Music brought the track back into the limelight, and it immediately captured the electronic music scene's attention. Despite two sold-out tours in the last couple of years, the mystery surrounding the project persists; In 2015, Fatima Yamaha joined forces with Dekmantel to remix the hit track "What's A Girl To Do?," and in 2017, another hit followed with "Araya." His live performances never fail to impress, as he seamlessly blends refined house with expertly-crafted synthesiser solos. As a result, Fatima Yamaha has become a major player in the world of electronic music. Joining the prolific act this summer will be Italian artist and founder of Sonic Dream Recordings, Budino. Known for blending anything from psychedelic sonics, dark trance-inducing beats, tribal percussion, and cosmic textures, expect a set for the senses. Make A Dance (aka Ben Lewis & Josh Ludlow) are back to round off Room 1, and the Midnight People crew are returning to the familiar realm of Room 3 - watch this space for their takeover line-up coming soon. -------- Entry 19+.
