The MAADKiNG

Asaiah Scott, aka The MAADKiNG, is a musician, songwriter, and producer from Kailua, Hawaii. He is an active reggae recording artist, lending his talents to local live acts including Maoli, The Vitals 808, Herbnculture, and the Paul Izak Trio.

His works reflect his eclectic influences, combining his love of the realness and politicism found in conscious roots reggae, punk, & hip-hop, with the carefree nature of lover's rock and R&B. His connection to his African roots, and his deep love for the old school island sound is complemented by his strong desire to be present and authentic, giving his productions the ability to resonate with audiences the world over.
