Westhead Biography

Westhead is a highly collaborative indie-folk project hailing from Chicago, IL. Masterminded by singer, songwriter, and multiinstrumentalist Max DiFrisco, Westhead has been blending their ambition and talent into records and live shows since the release of their first singles in early 2020. Now based in Bloomington, IN the live band is now comprised of DiFrisco and four other musicians to bring Westhead's sound to the stage, Jimmy Diskin on guitar, Avery McGuire on bass, Reeder Vyain on piano, and Braeden Janes on drums.

From the lush instrumentals of "Friend of Mine" to the stripped back folk-ballads of "And Just Like That" and the upcoming studio mastery of "Double Dares/Fault Lines" Westhead has been finding and developing their sound for nearly three years, and they show no signs of slowing down.
