Poise, personality, powerhouse voices and unparalleled harmonies – The Marilynds are a dynamic duo ready to take the country music scene by storm. With the passion of dreamers and the genuine spirit from their humble beginnings, the sister team is captivating country music audiences with their incredible talent, their inspiring music and their heartfelt connection as sisters.

From an early age, Lindsay and Kasey Staniszewski knew they were born to perform. Music always filled the Staniszewski home, and their parents introduced them to all genres – from Broadway to country and everything in between. The sisters began performing on stage in local, school and community theatres, and slowly but surely gained the skills and confidence of rising stars. Every chance they had, the young hopefuls took to the stages, starring in musicals, performing at community events and singing anywhere they could find an audience. Lindsay and Kasey, only three years apart, grew individually, finding their own passions and voices, but the bond and connection they shared as sisters could not be denied. Over time, the girls began performing together, wowing crowds with their charisma on stage and their unique vocal sound. Lindsay and Kasey gained notoriety not only for their standout voices and their stirring harmonies, but as role models and leaders, on stage and off.

In pursuing their dreams and grasping each and every opportunity to share their talents, the sisters each have been successful in many arenas, including community advocacy, public speaking and pageantry. Lindsay won the title of Miss Maryland in 2010, bringing her talents, personality and active community involvement to the stage of the nationally televised Miss America pageant in 2011. Lindsay also began a national program and inspirational website for young women – Beyond Beauty for Girls - for which she has used as an outlet for inspiring confidence and building self-esteem in girls and young women. She has served as a National Ambassador for The Confidence Coalition and an advocate and keynote speaker for The Girl Scouts of the USA. Additionally, Lindsay received her B.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland College Park.

Kasey most recently captured the title of Miss Maryland USA 2013, where she went on to place in the Top 15 at the Miss USA pageant, televised from Las Vegas on NBC. Kasey has also held the titles of Miss Maryland Teen USA in 2009, placing as 3rd Runner-Up to the national title of Miss Teen USA, and Miss Maryland’s Outstanding Teen in 2007. Kasey has been an ambassador for Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure, the Special Olympics and The Girl Scouts of the USA. She has a special place in her heart for the Wounded Warriors Organization and has enjoyed the times spent visiting with and performing for our brave military heroes. Kasey has graduated with her A.A. in Communication from Anne Arundel Community College and is currently attending the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Through these various opportunities, many doors opened for the duo, including performances for notable government officials, at national USO events and at various charity and non-profits events around the country.

The Marilynds believe in staying true to who they are and to the values their parents instilled in them from a young age. The sisters have struggled with bullying, both in school and in the workplace, and challenges that could have easily broken their spirits. But, despite everything, they have never lost their determination and passion to make their goals come to fruition and their musical dreams come true. With the love of family, their unwavering faith and the support of genuine friends, Lindsay and Kasey continue to rise to the top.

As best friends, they are truly unbreakable. As sisters, their bond is stronger than ever. And as a duet, their music rings powerful and true—both vulnerable and yet, with an undeniable vocal power that cuts through to the heart. The Marilynds are making their mark in the entertainment industry, sharing their love for a truly universal language—music—and sharing their voices with the world, note by note.
