Cancel Biography
Cancel The Sky are a hardcore band based in Lucerne, Switzerland and were founded in 2011. Right away they recorded their first EP ‘Our Hearts’ and their track ‘Who Am I’ was awarded the Kickass Award for the “Best Local Song 2012”. After recording another 2-song-EP and shooting their first video, the band went to the studios again. They released their debut LP ‘Circle’ in September 2015 along with two videos for the songs ‘Circles’ and ‘Third Voice’.
In early 2016, Felix Mechelke replaced founding guitarist Yvo, he had already helped the band out at a couple of shows before.
Their Sound, possibly somewhere among Hardcore, Post-Hardcore and Metalcore, has always been developed further since their first EP and is likely to keep on doing so.
The most important thing for all members is their rousing and chaotic live shows full of energy, sweat and (sometimes even) blood.
