Having already announced a three-match trip to the USA as part of their warm-up programme, the match in the Scottish capital will be United's only match in the UK prior to the 2023/24 Premier League season. The match will set the tone for what's ahead for the new season, giving Scottish fans the chance to see their heroes on the pitch and the chance for the clubs to debut new signings, new tactics, and new kits. Dejan Lovren, Alexandre Lacazette and Jérôme Boateng are a host of stars plying their trade with Lyon.
