Heather Ivy Biography
Heather Ivy is a Modern Classical Soprano.
Shortly after graduating from Oklahoma City University, Heather joined the First National Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (NETworks). Following in the footsteps of Kristin Chenoweth and Kelli O’Hara, she chose to pursue voice with the legendary teacher, Florence Birdwell. Theatrical credits include Sarah in Guys & Dolls, Meg in Little Women, and Hope in Urinetown. Opera credits include Elisir D’Amore, La Bohème, and Le Nozze di Figaro.
Heather made her solo concert debut at Don’t Tell Mama’s in NYC to a sold out audience. From there she developed her signature shows Beyond the Sea and Unexpected Love which have been performed across the US and around the world on luxury cruise lines. Other concert appearances include the Fuare Requiem and Vivaldi Gloria with the Fort Myers Symphonic MasterSingers and Orchestra, Southwest Florida MS Society and American Cancer Society.
When not performing, Heather is passionate about training the next generation of artists. In addition to a thriving voice studio, she teaches master classes and workshops for aspiring singers. Recent clients include Opera Naples, First Academy of Music, and The Naples Players.
Heather is based in Naples, Florida with her husband and dog, Skipper.
