Destroy All Lines and Raida Artist are proud to present the ‘Three’s Company’ Tour featuring Cheap Date (QLD), False London (NSW) and Jacob Fitzgerald & The Electric City (VIC) hitting the east coast this June! Each act will be headlining their own city in support of their latest single releases. With special local openers in each city, showcasing what is the future of Australian Indie music. With an image that initially screams 80’s nostalgia, Cheap Date is so much more than another whack on the overbeaten drum of sex drugs and rock and roll. A strong theme of gender equality and queer inclusiveness can be heard through leading lady Lara Dee’s eloquent songwriting. Lara Dee openly identifies as a member of the lgbtq+ community and strives to establish a safe space for all listeners and support anyone experiencing a similar journey to her own. Cheap Date are aiming to construct through music. Proving that communities can unite not only in a social setting, but a creative one. False London, a band that was built behind locked doors during the pandemic, is above all, a band of pure mesmerizing expression. The False London signature is a marriage between achingly introspective lyrics and hypnotic pop hooks. 2021 saw False London released their debut single ‘Flames’ which was featured on both Triple J & MTV soon after to universal acclaim. 2022, False Londons debut EP "Is It Ever Getting Better" once again caught the attention of Triple J; in addition to finding a home in various Spotify playlists. This EP launch was supported by a run of live shows along the East Coast, including a sold-out evening at Sydney’s iconic Oxford Arts Gallery, wrapping up a breakout year with multiple support slots for the likes of Pacific Avenue, and Stumps. In 2023 False London has already accelerated into the year with the release of their new single “SPEED”. This single is a turning point in this young band's career as they progress forward in their endeavors.Pure songwriting class, partnered with an unparalleled charisma and captivating stage presence are the staple pieces that make Melbourne’s own, Jacob Fitzgerald one to watch. Backed by his band The Electric City, Fitzgerald’s distinct vocal tone is accompanied by thundering drums, melodic guitar riffs and screeching sax solos that perfectly encapsulate the big band sound within the studio and their electric live show. The modern-day front man is full of flair as he effortlessly switches between high octane rock n roll, heartbreak ballads and effervescent pop tunes.
