Central Music Festival Society presents Morgan Davis & Suzie Vinnick Saturday, September 18th - 8pm Red Deer Elks Hall, 6315 Horn St, Red Deer, AB T4N 6H5 When I proposed this co-bill to Morgan and Suzie, they both eagerly agreed. They’re excited, and so are we! For 50 years Morgan Davis has been on the road travelling across Canada, the United States and Europe. His performances draw from a rich tradition of country blues, as well as his own contemporary songs infused with wit and a large dose of humour. Morgan is no stranger to Red Deer. He’s played here many times over the years, always to audiences who appreciate a dose of blues medicine. Morgan Davis, the Blues MD, is making a house call at The Elks Lodge! We witnessed that when she opened for The Legendary Downchild Blues Band at The Memorial Centre Theatre recently.
