Kereken egy évvel a Metanoia lemez megjelenése után ismét turnéra indul a budapesti Omega Diatribe legénysége. Az underground szerelmeseinek minden bizonnyal nem kell bemutatni a zenekart, akik zord és agresszív zenéjükkel valósággal berobbantak a hazai köztudatba 2013-ban a debütáló Iapetus c. lemezükkel. Az ezt követő Abstract Ritual és Trinity c. lemezek csak megerősítették a pozíciójukat a hazai szcénában. A második lemezen Kevin Talley-vel (ex-Suffocation/Six Feet Under/Chimaira) a dobok mögött, ezután pedig Tue Madsen (Meshuggah/Ektomorf/Suicide Silence) vezényletével készítettek a harmadik lemezt, amivel be is zsebelték az 'Az év koncertzenekara' illetve az 'Az év stúdióprodukciója' díjat a HangSúly Zenei Díjon. Számtalan hazai és európai turné után a zenekar tavaly megjelent Metanoia című negyedik lemeze nem kisebb porduceri név szárnyai alatt készült, mint a svéd Jens Bogren-é (Opeth, Sepultura, Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth), akinek kiváló munkája végett a banda eddigi legerősebb anyagát tette le az asztalra, Aki koncertjükön jár, minden bizonnyal egy maradandó élménnyel távozik a helyszínről. Nem lesz ez másképp a dunaújvárosi koncert esetében sem!

▩ MISFIT RIVER:
A dunaújvárosi Misfit River 2013-ban alakult. Zenéjüket a svéd melodeath és groove metál hangzásvilág éppúgy jellemzi, mint a modern metalcore és deathcore hatások, melyek oldszkúl, egyben mégis modern ízt adnak zenéjüknek, különlegessé téve a zenekart a magyar metál élet palettáján. A zenekar tagjai régebbi helyi zenekarok romjaiból építették fel a Misfit Rivert, a dalszerző Ódor József „Joe” korábban az Inside My Head-ben tépte a húrokat, Dudás Sándor a Sicitur Adastra-ban ütötte a bőröket, József Mátyás a budapesti Vendetta zenekarból csatlakozott a mikrofon mögé, Turi Tamás „Rito” a Rockboxban pengeti még a húrokat, basszeron pedig a zenekar legfrissebb tagja Bicskei Csongor korábban kisegítette a Morhord és a The Morning Star zenekarokat is. A banda első debütáló anyaga 2017-ben jelent meg, majd ezt követte 2018-ban a Dark Waters című kislemez, új kislemezük, melyet Drill The Vein címre kereszteltek 2021 folyamán jelenik meg, hamarosan!

Omega Diatribe Biography
The Hungarian extreme grove metal band Omega Diatribe was formed in 2008 by Gergő Hájer (guitar) and Ákos Szathmáry (bass). They started to play live in 2012 with a 5 piece line up. The band getting bigger and bigger by their intense life shows and powerfull sounding.
After years of hard work in 2013 Omega Diatribe has finally released their full-length debut album entitled Iapetus. The record contains 10 uncompromised, kiler songs. The guys recorded the CD at their own studio at 515 Studio.
The album was nominated the ‘Best album of the year‘ & ‘The best studio production’ in Hungary, and landed on the second place.
In 2014 the band split ways with David (drummer) and start to work with the legendary drumer Kevin Talley on a new material. Omega Diatribe dropped out their brand new EP called Abstract Ritual on 26th of February 2015, featuring the american death metal drum machine Kevin Talley on drums.
In the summer of 2015 they signd to the US based record label independent ear records. Thanks to this, the record Abstract Ritual has been released in the US in 11 September 2015, including a remixed bonus track.
The band released a brand new sngle in the beggining of 2016 called Contrist. The release also contains an exclusive cover of slipknot’s anthem. By 2016, the band was mostly playing abroad and festivals suchs as Euroblast with hope of playing for their fans at even more locations.
In the beggining of 2017 the band get signed to ils group at universal records. Omega Diatribe released their third studio record called Trinity in 2018, which has been co-produced, mixed and mastered by the danish producer Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios. Trinity has been released under the ukrainian metal scrap records. after an intense tour season, the band has won the ‘Best live band’ & ‘Best album of the year’ award at Hungarian Metal Awards.
In 2020 they released their forth studio record Metanoia under Metal Scrap Records which has been mastered by the Swedish producer Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios. They started working with Tue Madsen again in 2022 and released their latest EP My Sphere.
At the end of 2023, Omega Diatribe released their 5th full-length studio record Deviant under the Hungarian Metal.hu Records. Co-produced, Mixed & Mastered by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios.
