One Street Over VA

One Street Over is a four-piece, traditional Irish band from Winchester, Virginia, that combines the sounds of the flute, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, cello, banjo, and bodhran into haunting and foot-tapping melodies.

Several months after playing together informally at Nana's Irish Pub in Middletown, VA in 2014, Doug, Katie, and Nicholas discovered they lived just one street over from one another in Winchester. After overhearing this realization, a pub patron yelled out, "That sounds like a good name for a band- "One Street Over"! He was rite, and the name stuck. Since then, the group added Tony to its lineup to become a formal band with the self-proclaimed mission of bringing the sounds of the Emerald Isle to audiences across the Shenandoah Valley.
