Tina Leon est une auteure-compositrice-interprète de Montréal qui puise son inspiration de la Génération Motown et de la soul des dernières décennies. Ayant déjà chanté et collaboré aux côtés de Stevie Wonder, DJ Champion ou encore Garou sous le nom d'artiste Marie-Christine Depestre, elle s'affiche désormais sous un nouveau jour, plus authentique et pleine de vie que jamais. En référence au surnom qui lui est donné par sa famille et en hommage à sa grand-mère maternelle, ce choix d'un nouveau nom de scène est une manière pour elle d'exprimer pleinement sa personnalité, d'affirmer son art et ainsi de retrouver une forme d'équilibre.

Tina Leon Biography
Tina Leon is a singer and songwriter from Montreal who draws her inspiration from the Motown Generation and the soul music of the last decades. Having already sung and collaborated with Stevie Wonder, DJ Champion and Garou under the artist name of Marie-Christine Depestre, she now appears in a new light, more authentic and full of life than ever.
In reference to the nickname given to her by her family and in homage to her maternal grandmother, this choice of a new stage name is a way for her to fully express her personality, to assert her art and thus to find a form of balance.
Describing it as a rainbow of soul, her debut EP “PUSH” is a colorful journey through jazzy, funk, and pop rhythms with rich and enchanting melodies. Her sophomore EP “PULL” is out on March 24.
