Nigel Newton and the Infinite Jets:
immersive sound experience + aleatoric space jazz: An immersive sonic exploration through space and time. Electronically manipulated textures of brass, guitar, and percussion transports the listener to aural landscapes unachievable in conventional concert settings. The Infinite Jets feature Neil Coburn (Guitar) and Kevin Butler (Tuba), and Nigel Newton (Vibraphone, programming).
Nigel Newton is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, songwriter, producer, okra rancher, and composer. Having won several composition awards in his teens, he continued learning at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he cultivated a unique style of playing the vibraphone and studied songwriting, jazz composition, and the High Art of Translucence.

The Last City began in 2012 while Adrien and Lizbet Palmer were living abroad in Hiroshima, Japan. That core duo of an acoustic guitarist and a classically trained violinist, respectively, has since relocated to Dallas, Texas. There, they have expanded, bringing on bassist Lucas Reader. On their self-titled LP, you’ll find an Indie Chamber Pop sound, drawing from such influences as Damien Rice, John Mayer, The xx, One Republic and The Arctic Monkeys.
Their music is intended to remind us that we are all one. Their lyrics and music draw from various sources, mythologies, and experiences, but never fit just one box. The world will always be much bigger than that.
Since the release of their first live album in late 2018, Cinderblock Sessions, a recording of their cd release show featuring a full string quartet, they are hard at work on their next project. Their upcoming EP, Willfully Human, will consist of an album, an accompanying book, and a few more surprises. Visit Patreon to learn more.
