Yaya Biography
A 4 guy formation based in Basel Switzerland but willing to play shows all over the world. Deep emotions underlined with artificial pop driven by impulsive beats and last but not least completed through a enormous voice. YAYA is not just a concert, YAYA is an experience.
It is certainly not an easy task to write songs with depth which trigger strong emotions and yet seem unpretentious.
YAYA's debut album "Lost Heaven” has succeeded in exactly this risky undertaking. These Swiss band artists stage artificial pop music stirring up strong emotions while also allowing room within the song for its interpretation to unfold. Along with a string of strong melodies and a well-told story a natural self-confidence shines through each song bringing in an extra boost. Expect a flowing arrangement which will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, from ecstatic climaxes to the quiet moments in which the profound sounds of a piano allows a sneak glance at the soul of the song.
YAYA skilfully wraps its listener in a synthetic carpet of sound, permeated by the striking frontman’s voice (Richard). Heaven can briefly be found for those who love intelligently produced songs with a soul.
