Hannah Horton is a visionary tenor and baritone saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, with musical influences rooted in jazz, folk, and funk. Her established individual and sophisticated sound is edging through boundaries and creating waves worldwide. Lance Liddle of ’Bebop Spoken Here’ states, “Hannah Horton blows funky tenor, gutsy baritone, and can write a good tune”. Hannah’s most recent album ‘Inside Out’ has received critical acclaim worldwide and she continues to wow audiences with her creative, compelling, emotive and alluring playing, alongside her warm and charming personality on stage. She has showcased her skills alongside a plethora of great artists such as Amy Winehouse, Ian Shaw, John Etheridge, Georgia Mancio, and has sold out prominent UK jazz venues such as the 606 Jazz Club and shows at London Jazz Festival. The Hannah Horton Quartet, consisting of Hannah Horton (Saxophones), Tim Lapthorn (Piano), Rob Statham (Bass), and Steve Taylor (Drums), will perform original compositions from her highly acclaimed albums, alongside iconic songs she holds close to her heart.
