Traverser

Traverser opens the floodgates of creative, intense and contemplative alternative rock on unsuspecting audiences at every performance. Formed in 2004 by David Medairos (guitars/vocals), Robert Spence (bass guitar) and David Shaw (drums), three friends imagined a style of music that carried true and honest weight both in concept and execution. In late 2010 Traverser announced the addition of former 7 Blue Skies guitarist Jon Shaffer as a permanent member of the band and began touring rigorously. Since its inception, Traverser has consistently and r elentlessly gained the respect of concert goers and fellow musicians alike, challenging audiences with engaging live performances and creative presentation. Traverser has been featured at WJRR's Earthday Birthday, Florida Music Festival, Hard Rock Live, House Of Blues, and several special events for EA Games Tiburon video game design studio. Supporting acts like Eye Empire, Karnivool, Days Of The New, Pop Evil, My Darkest Days, and Taproot, and with over 150 shows covering the eastern US since 2011, Traverser's unique mix of progressive, alternative rock and metal continues to place them in a genre all their own.
