John Miller and his Country Casuals

John Miller and his Country Casuals are a six piece band from Glasgow, playing a mix of mainly original Country Music in a 50s/60s style combining elements of Honky Tonk, Western Swing and Rockabilly. John has been performing and recording since the mid 1990s. First with Glasgow band Radio Sweethearts and later with his Country Casuals. He has released five albums and has written songs for Kate Rusby, Sheila Noonan and others. His music has been used for Film and TV and he was once voted Scottish Country Singer Of The Year by listeners to BBC Radio.The band have appeared on both TV and Radio and have shared the stage with many top Country Americana artists including Dale Watson, Robbie Fulks, BR5-49, Laura Cantrell, The Mavericks and Townes Van Zandt.
