The Harvey Girls, named after the famed railroad waitresses, was formed in Lawrence, Kansas, in 2003 by Melissa Rodenbeek and Hiram Lucke. The band style combines bubblegum pop with sonic experimentation. They now reside in Portland, Oregon.
