Gabe Burdulis Biography
Gabe Burdulis is a 21 year-old singer, songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. His roots began in Madison, WI where he spent most of his teen years playing at local bar’s and cafe’s, staying out way too late for school nights. Burdulis was almost completely self taught when he picked up his fathers guitar in 7th grade and started writing songs after realizing he could sing and play at the same time. Writing and performing immediately became a passion that he began. Since he has won multiple "Madison Area Music Awards", in addition to being a two-time recipient of the “Les Paul Launchpad Award”. After declining a scholarship to Berklee school of music, he moved to Nashville at the age of 18 and without knowing anyway, started making his footprint. His songwriting style has been described as a “more country version of John Mayer”. Between his distinct guitar tones and his catchy vocal melodies, his records display a good representation of his pop/rock skills mixed with his bluesy influence. His live performances have been called “captivating” and “energetic”. Burdulis has played a number of major festivals all across the country, including the worlds largest music festival, Summerfest, sharing the stage with acts like, Sylvan Esso, Cheap Trick, B.O.B. He has spent much of the last year touring the country with his duo “Future Stuff” opening for blues legend, Doyle Bramhall II and Grammy award winning band, Los Lobos. A kid from the midwest trying to reach others through his music.
