Lorenzo Polidori Biography
ENGLISH VERSION
Lorenzo Polidori was born on 8th of march 1997 in Florence. since he was a child, he was interested in music world.
when he was 8, he started studying classical techniques for guitar: this passion brought him to be interested also in other musical genres and to approch, as a self made man, to Mark Knopfler's techniques.
Starting at the age of 14, he studied acustic guitar at Lizard academy in Fiesole. Since then, he has been completely studying the techniques inspired by artist such as: Tommy Emmanuel, Gareth Pearson, Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed.
Since then he has devoted himself completely to the study of Fingerstyle, Fingerpicking techniques; inspired by artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Gareth Pearson, Merle Travis, Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed.
In 2014 he personally meets the Welsh guitarist Gareth Pearson and since then has been studying and perfecting fingerpicking techniques with him.
Lorenzo shared the stage with musicians and guitaris such as: Gareth Pearson, Clive Carroll, Andrea Valeri, Michael Manring, Alessandro Finazzo in art Finaz (Bandabardò guitarist), Eugenio Finardi, Steph Burns (Vasco Rossi guitarist), Will Hunt (Drummer Evanescence), Claudio Golinelli (Bassist of Vasco Rossi).
In 2017 he won the prestigious "New Sounds of Acoustic Music 2017" acoustic guitar contest held in the Acustic Guitar village of Cremona and participated in the first edition of the "Glocal Sound" musical showcase presented by "Reset Festival" and promoted from "Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo", "Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo onlus" and "AMAT Marche".
Today Lorenzo performs and composes music to record his first album.

Lorenzo Polidori è un chitarrista acustico nato a Firenze nel 1997. Sin da piccolo mostra un grande interesse per il mondo della musica e alla giovane età di 8 anni comincia a studiare le tecniche classiche della chitarra.
La passione lo ha portato ad interessarsi anche ad altri stili musicali, avvicinandosi come autodidatta alle tecniche di Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits).
All'età di 14 anni ha iniziato gli studi acustici presso l'accademia Lizard di Fiesole da cui è stato premiato come miglior chitarrista italiano del mese (Gennaio 2017).
Da allora si dedica completamente allo studio delle tecniche Fingerstyle, Fingerpicking; ispirato da artisti come Tommy Emmanuel, Gareth Pearson, Merle Travis, Chet Atkins e Jerry Reed.
Nel 2014 consce di persona il chitarrista Gallese Gareth Pearson e da allora studia e perfeziona con lui le tecniche fingerpicking.
Lorenzo ha condiviso il palco con musicisti e virtuosi della chitarra come : Gareth Pearson, Clive Carroll,Andrea Valeri, Micheal Manring, Alessandro Finazzo in arte Finaz (Chitarrista della Bandabardò), Eugenio Finardi, Steph Burns (Chitarrista di Vasco Rossi),Will Hunt (Batterista Evanescence),Claudio Golinelli (Bassista di Vasco Rossi).
