Quincy Mumford Biography

Asbury Park based musician, producer, & singer/songwriter Quincy Mumford blends hip-hop beats and soulful melodies in his latest EP titled ‘Every Wednesday’ with world renown producer and DJ, Jenaux.

Quincy grew up in a small beach town on the east coast of New Jersey. Inspired by the ocean and surrounding city of Asbury Park, he was fascinated by its music history and deep roots. He spent most of his time surfing and playing guitar. From 2008, Quincy began releasing local award winning records, and touring across the country with his live band.

With Quincy’s positive message through his music, and his efforts to give back to his community, he has raised over $150,000 for non-profits over the years. His mission statement is a release titled 'Helping Hand' from 2016 with producer Michael Ghegan.

In 2017, Quincy Mumford took a break from the road and went back into the studio, this time with the producer, Jenaux. Their collaboration sparked a new sound for Quincy, into what he says is “The music I’ve always wanted to make.” His first single ‘Thank You’ hit two million streams on Spotify in the first year, and landed the number two spot on the US viral charts. Quincy released his EP titled ‘Every Wednesday’ March 2019, and has racked up aver 9 million streams across all platforms.

His music continues to reach new fans around the world with his latest single ‘Quarantine’ and plans for new music in 2022.
