Presented by What The Sound: Luvlee (Lee Brown) is a British music artist, songwriter and record producer currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Lee’s career in music began in 2014 after studying Musical Theatre at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Lee was previously a member of international boyband Phase Five, in which he toured the UK and 13 states in the US before their split in 2017. After this, Lee decided to continue with a solo project and spend the foreseeable future in LA. Luvlee was bought up listening to an eclectic mixture of musical genres resulting in his style being a fusion between pop punk, 80s pop and British rock. His love for songwriting and producing has allowed Lee to work with many artists over the years. Doing this gave him the knowledge, experience and ability to write and produce his own music. Luvlee’s music comes from his studio in his apartment in Los Angeles. KAYA STEWART Born in London but raised in Los Angeles, Kaya Stewart grew up surrounded by music and began writing songs at the age of 6. By her early teens, Stewart had found her place in Los Angeles’ live music scene, sneaking into shows and establishing herself as a performer in her own right. Stewart emerged on the scene with her song, “In Love With A Boy,” in 2014. The candid yet relatable track solidified Stewart as one of pop music’s most promising up-and-coming young artists. After releasing her self-titled debut album in 2016, Stewart toured non-stop across the U.S., including performing dates on the Warped Tour where she was the youngest female artist to participate in the iconic touring festival. Kaya Stewart continues to redefine what it means to be a pop artist in today’s day and age with the release of her latest EP 'Miss Kaya'. Stewart says about the EP, “Making this EP was a breakthrough moment for me. It’s a perfect image of where my life was at that point. I’m so excited that this is how I get to introduce myself to the world again.” Stewart is constantly exploring and redefining what it means to be a pop artist in today’s world - especially one which is currently filled with so much uncertainty. “There was never a moment of ‘oh this is what I want to do’. It’s always just been a part of who I am.” HEATHER LAROSE Armed with a Gibson guitar and a pastel pink pen, Heather LaRose found inspiration in Westchester, New York seated right on the edge of Manhattan. Her songs take on a unique tone of freedom and heartache playing with cinematic and pop sounds. While in college in 2018, Heather LaRose founded Twin Palm Records, her own boutique label that distributes through Ditto. Heather’s goal with her label is to empower young women to take ownership of their art and control their image. The label is planted in musical integrity and artists’ rights. In winter of 2019, Heather LaRose opened for The Killers, The 1975, and has graced the stage with Hillary Clinton, Rachel Platten, Drake Bell and more. She relocated to Los Angeles in early 2020 and is set to release her EP in Fall 2021. Heather LaRose has been featured in Forbes, MTV, Galore Magazine, Popdust, Marie Claire, and more.
