THVC presents ?An evening with Henry & Les?. Come and celebrate Henry Priestman and Les Glover?s 10th Anniversary of playing together, with a special ?Evening With?? at their favourite local venue Thornton Hough Village Club on May 4th 2023; 10 years TO THE DAY since their first gig together! On May 4th 2013 Henry Priestman and Les Glover played their first ever gig together. Henry had been doing mainly solo concerts for a year or so, but felt it would be good to get someone in for ?the odd prestige gig? to help broaden the sound a bit. He spotted Les at a local gig, and thought ?he seems good?. Since then they?ve gone from strength to strength, and the ?odd prestige gig? has turned into over 500 gigs together, and nary a rock-star tantrum or a bad word between them in 10 hectic years. Bonded by a love of similar kinds of music, they?ve created an unpretentious live act of genuine warmth, gentle humour, occasional chaos and half decent songs, an act that seems to be appreciated by their many repeat audiences.
