Caitlyn Ochsner - Music Biography

With deep roots in agriculture and an ability to hit notes as high as the Colorado Rockies, Caitlyn Ochsner was made for country music. “True Blue,” “Country with Class,” “The Real Deal,” are all words that have been used to describe this talented country artist known as a “small town girl with a big-time voice.”

Growing up on a farm and ranch in Northern Colorado, Caitlyn discovered her singing talent while competing in the Youth Idol Contest at the Weld County Fair when she was 9-years-old. The opportunity, as a 17-year-old, to sing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in front of 20,000 rodeo fans and a televised audience, fueled her passion for singing and led her to study music at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Caitlyn and her band are known for delivering high-energy, entertaining performances at fairs, rodeos, livestock shows, business conventions and country dance halls. She has been praised for her vocal range, natural skill as an entertainer, and her versatility in seamlessly transitioning from high-energy anthems to two-stepping ballads.

During the summer of 2019, Caitlyn released her first EP entitled “Home.” This four-song collection highlights Caitlyn’s skills as a vocalist and songwriter. The lead single, “Home,” epitomizes her authenticity as an artist and demonstrates her passion for writing songs that touch people and tell a story. Recently, Caitlyn was nominated for New Artist of the Year by the Rocky Mountain Country Music Association. Caitlyn continues to hone her skills as a writer and performer and is working on an exciting new project including five new original songs set to release in 2020.
