Migrant Motel Biography
Migrant Motel combines modern Alt Pop sounds with contemporary production techniques into a blend that is unique yet familiar. Peruvian-American David Stewart Jr. (vocals, bass) and Mexican native Chava
Ilizaliturri (drums) formed Migrant Motelin Boston while they were studying together in college. They’ve built their fan base in the United States, Mexico and throughout Latin America. Migrant Motel is now aiming their sights on the growing Bi-Lingual and Bi-Cultural youth movement in the United States.
Seeking more opportunities and a bigger stage, the pair relocated to Los
Angeles in 2020. The band has played multiple shows on the LA circuit,
performing in legendary venues such as Whiskey A Go Go, Bardot, Troubadour, The Viper Room, and The Roxy. Migrant Motel made their first festival appearance in Chicago at Lollapalooza Festival in 2021. With the release of the new song ‘Shame’, the band is expanding its reach in the evolving culture! They’re now gearing up for new releases in 2023 with plans to start touring in the 2nd quarter.
