Animals On TV Biography
Founded in 2019 in a garage in south Austin, Animals on TV is the greatest homegrown Rock and Roll band in Texas. Tell your mom.
Our goal is to stick around for a long time and get bigger than CNN. We're discontent with washed out indie rock with feeble vocals. We insist Rock and Roll must have an edge to it and it must be fun. Animals on TV writes music you can dance to. Tell your dad.
We began playing at the beginning of 2020 and managed to shock packed crowds at Scratchouse (RIP), The Parish, Mohawk, and Empire Control room in Austin before COVID rapped our collective knuckles.
Following the release of our first single, Bad Feeling, and EP, Ads!, we spent the remainder of 2020 in the studio, advancing our song writing skills and collaborating with the legendary producer, Gordon Raphael, who recorded the first two Strokes albums.
Needless to say, we have a lot in store for our fans in 2021. If you're not a fan yet, we're after your very heart this year. Come see us, listen to our songs, talk to us on Instagram. Let's show the world that Austin, Texas knows how to rock out.
