About this concert
The Tea Dance, now a worldwide staple in LGBTQ nightlife, originated in Fire Island in 1966. A cocktail gathering that began when it was illegal for people of the same sex to dance together, has evolved into the most popular happy hour on the island. JuneTea will feature BIPOC dj’s who will celebrate the Black music experience.
