A Casual Divorce

A Casual Divorce is a musically adventurous piano trio with wild harmonies and an unexpected pop sensibility. Singer/bassist Rachel Bachman moved from Tulsa to Phoenix in late 2019, and within a few weeks met singer/keyboardist Jared Michael. With their shared penchant for theatrical vocals, odd rhythms and harmonies, and snarky lyrics, it was obvious they should collaborate. After a few months of writing together their dreams of a world tour were shattered by a global pandemic, so they settled instead for more writing and honing their craft. With everything starting to open back up, they added veteran drummer Spencer Ferrarin and produced their debut single, “Baby” which released on May 26th.
