In our age of bitterness and mistrust one Midwestern reggae band attempts to sweeten things up a bit.
Lively UP's debut EP "The People Around You"displays a wide variety of influences while maintaining an overall uplifting and positive vibe.
This four-piece band of intuitive and accomplished players set the stage for vocalist Brian Tiemeyer's smooth and sensual vocals throughout this dynamic 5 song EP.
"Through the Light" the bands first single is an upbeat and modern take on Reggae. In this conscious call to action, Lively Up stays hopeful and reminds us all to sacrifice just a little to the greater good.
In stark contrast the second single from "The People Around You" shows more of the bands sentimental side. The appropriately titled "LOVE" takes us through all the emotion of a young infatuation. With a gentle fusion of soul & R&B, L.O.V.E. is sure to be a lover's rock favorite.
