About this concert
Bluetech and DJ Maggie present the Holotropic Happy Hour, a 2 hour audiovisual show of electronic music, experimental film and animation and the friendliest chat on the internet. Two airings - Wednesdays 5-7pm PDT (early Thursday morning 1-3am GMT) and again Thursdays 9-11am PDT (5-7pm GMT), to make it easier for those in other time zones to participate. The show is free, but you will need a registered Twitch profile to chat.
This week's show we welcome Andrew Ross Collins, label boss for Interchill Records, with visuals by Polygon Rainbow.
Andrew Ross Collins started producing events and DJ'ing in Montreal in the early 90's, forming the Interchill label in 1996. Fortunate to work with some hugely talented producers and artists over the years, the label sound has not been narrowly defined. Now 25 years later 2021 sees a number of releases on the horizon from Interchill.
Polygon Rainbow is the sonic (and now visual) manipulation brainchild of Christopher Bourland. An exploration of the liminal fringes of self, seeking comforting peace in an otherwise chaotic universe. As an avid believer of the "there is no rules to noise" approach to making art and music, you never know what is coming next from Chris.

Bluetech is a classically trained musician who has been releasing electronic music since 2003, and has over 30 releases to his name. He has toured internationally and shared stages with some of the biggest names in electronic music, scored video games, won awards for his short film scores and continues to invest in and build community around electronic music. After his 2 self released albums charted on Billboard in 2019 (at #10 and #5) he decided to expand his label to include other artists, and since then Behind The Sky has become a well respected purveyor of analog and modular synth music.
