About this concert
Dystopia Drum & Bass present BAD SYNTAX Above DNA: Bad Syntax (Adam Audio / Viper / Formation / Close2Death / Mayan / Abducted LTD, LA) Lucy Stoner ( Does It Bang / 5lowershop, Oakland) The Doctor Amber Leigh Screwtape R3M Take back your freedom and join us for a special Friday night of Drum and Bass right in the heart of San Francisco at DNA Lounge. Come get 'baptized' to the sounds of Drum & Bass champions from all over the sprawl! August equals Massive talent that we are pleased to welcome to the Bay Area. "Drum & Bass has always been a music genre that is predominantly dominated by the United Kingdom and Europe, but times are definitely changing as artists based in the United States are becoming more prevalent than ever before. With US based artists releasing records on major labels, traveling and performing throughout the UK and EU, the US is no longer just thought as a touring stomping ground for international acts but a Nation with a growing fan base and a hungry new generation of talented producers. Generally overlooked by promoters, party goers and the general public, the United States has quietly and quickly produced an excess of talented artists from coast to coast that the world definitely needs to know about..." Amber Leigh Biography

Singer / songwriter, Amber Leigh, has spent every chapter of her life on stage. The South-Florida native was found side stage in a play-pin while her father, a musician himself, performed. She then fronted her own band by the age of 10 and now, residing in Nashville, performs over 200 shows a year across the country.

The Irish-bred, fiddle playing Leigh, who is widely recognized by her fiery red hair, has already released nine full length albums, all to critical acclaim. Her unique, "Country with a touch of Celtic flair”, sound has led to a strong fan base that has seen her share the stage with country music's finest including Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady Antebellum among others.

Her latest EP, "Dust to Gold”, captures her live energy in a studio performance while showcasing her strong songwriting ability. The first single, "Gonna Hurt Tomorrow”, co-written with Will Rambeaux (Faith Hill, Patty Loveless) and Sherrie Austin (Blake Shelton, George Strait), sets the tone for what promises to be an exciting 2018.

Leigh continues to support organizations such as Wounded Warriors Project, The ForgottenSoldiers Outreach, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Humane Society and the American Cancer Society.
