Andrew Bowers Biography
Andrew Bowers is an active touring Bassist, Composer, Music Director, and Arranger hailing from Omaha, Nebraska while proudly making Wichita, Kansas his base of operations!
Doubling on both Electric and Upright Bass, Andrew has honed his skills under the guidance of bassists Marlene Rosenberg, Eric Hochberg, and Mark Foley. He has also received mentorship and guidance from elite session musicians and producers such as Justin Wilson (Sony / Sound 81 Productions), Bill Caldwell (Randy Brecker / Mike Metheny), and David Teegarden (Bob Seger / Eric Clapton / Teegarden Studios).
Andrew has had the privilege of sharing the stage with legendary jazz artists: Bob Mintzer (Yellow Jackets), Bobby Watson (Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers), Chris Brubeck, and Pat Kelley (George Benson).
