The Slamming Doors Biography
Fronted by singer-songwriter, Adam Herman, The Slamming Doors capture the audience with a high energy set that finds itself somewhere in between The Band’s roots rock and Chris Stapleton’s soulful delivery.
In 2012, The Slamming Doors began their journey on the Iron Range, the heart of northern Minnesota’s mining industry. They have since spent the years steadily on the road, playing everything from theaters, barrooms, festivals, and living rooms. Over the years, they have dialed in to their unique brand of dynamic, bold Americana. Herman leaves it all on stage as a vocalist and songwriter, with a band of incredible musicians that offer beautiful lead work and tight, concise rhythms.
The band has released two studio albums, Road Beneath The Wheel and St. John’s Dance, one live album, and is currently working on their follow up E.P. to be released in early 2020.
