About this concert
Donaher and Worried Well with special guests Friday May 27, 2022 in Manchester NH at the Shaskeen 9PM 21+ $10 DONAHER Donaher wears their 90's and early 00's pop punk and power pop influences on the sleeve. The band has been compared to the likes of household power pop, Weezer and Fountains of Wayne, and indie punk mainstays, the Get Up Kids and Lemonheads. Filled with infectious hooks and guitar solos, Donaher was nominated for a New England Music Award for "Best Pop Act" in 2018 and has been featured on Sirius XM Radio. Their latest album "Gravity and the Stars Above" was released in February 2022, thePunkSite gave the release 4 stars saying "in many ways a very brave band and album". Donaher has toured the northeast and part of the midwest, having shared the stage with Collective Soul, the Ataris, and the Smoking Popes. Donahers music can be streamed on all digital music platforms and on vinyl via Bandcamp. WORRIED WELL Worried Well are an indie rock duo, consisting of Daniel James and Cam Jones from Portland, Maine that formed in 2011. That year, they released the "acoustic-heavy" self-titled album Worried Well. The band's "raucous and tense live performances" and playing with Murder By Death, mewithoutYou, the Hold Steady and Gin Blossoms led Worried Well to develop a following in the New England area. The band received nominations for Best New Act and Best Rock-Pop Act in The Portland Phoenix. Their second album Luck was also released independently in May of 2013, considered by Emily Burnham of Bangor Daily News to be "smart" and "occasionally dour." After signing with Mint 400 Records in 2015, Worried Well released Great Appetite, Poor Taste on vinyl, compact disc and digital download. The album was recorded in Rumford and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and was produced by Dean Baltulonis. The album content focuses on politics, religion and mental health.

Very polished performance, they sound better in person than on their records and their records sound great. Nick knew who I was from my online purchases and greeted me warmly at the show. Hope to see them again. Great job. Thanks

DONAHER Biography

Donaher's debut LP contains ten power pop songs that are savagely sweet, contagiously cute, and packed with more hooks than a tackle box. "I Swear My Love Is True" is a record that defines the sound of falling in love and a pending heartbreak. Stand out tracks include "No Other Dude" featuring Matt Pryor from the Get Up Kids, "Mandy Desmarais (Call Me Soon)", and "Heather"

New Hampshire's Hippo Press described Donaher as "a buoyant confection with a Fountains of Wayne and Weezer vibe”.

Produced by Gary Cioffi (Transit, A Will Away) and mastered by Jim Keaney (Appreciation Post, Pansy Division).
