Order a pizza from your favorite local spot and hop online to chill out and listen to a short story we wrote for your kids. Text by Dr. Kari Groff & Kristin Andreassen (The Bright Siders). Read by Akie Bermiss (Lake Street Dive). Illustrated by Taylor Ashton. Original music by Chris Eldridge (Punch Brothers).
After the story, Kari, Kristin, Akie, Taylor and Chris will all be there ready to talk to the kids and answer questions.
"Victor & the Great Pause" is about a smart and courageous stray dog that experiences the pandemic in NYC. This story is meant to help children process the early days of the lock-down as well as inspire in them feelings of hope, compassion, and environmental stewardship.
