Nelson Sobral Biography
Nelson Sobral is a guitarist, singer-songwriter based out of Toronto. His music is a bluesy r&b country-rock cocktail in the vein of The Black Crowes, Joey Landreth, Bahamas, Doyle Bramhall II & Glen Hansard.
He is a co-writer and guitarist for rock & roll band The Celebration Army. He plays lead guitar for soul/r&b singer-songwriter Jeremy Voltz and bass for singer-songwriter Mattie Leon. You can also find him every Monday night hosting (and backing up some of the finest up & coming & veteran singer-songwriters & musicians) at one of the best open mics in the city Open Mic Mondays at The Painted Lady.
