Alas de Liona

Alas de Liona hails from a small town in the Mojave Desert and came to Scotland to complete a university course where her musical talents for dreamy songs with eloquent lyrics emerged.
She had started making a name for herself performing in local pubs and returned in 2001 to record her Radio Astronomy EP.
Alas returned again twice in 2002 for live shows and two more single recordings and has in the past year opened for Kathryn Joseph, Rufus Wainwright, The Proclaimers, Hamish Hawk and Travis.
Summer 2023 saw Alas make a life changing move from USA to live full time in Scotland.

Late last year, Alas went back into Post Electric with her live band and producer Rod Jones to record an 11-song album, Gravity of Gold.

The first single from the album, Analogy is released on 17th May on her own Deli Owner Records via Absolute Label Services. Further singles follow in July and August with the album due for release in September.
