RATA

Stanislav Guchinskiy, also known as Rata, was born in 1989 in Russia and raised in Ukraine. He was always attracted to music, and needless to say that it led him to constant experiments with the sound to find a signature one. Those experiments came into real projects; "Eigenes Rezept" project was an acid test to him and his friend, as its format - slightly industrial and structured underground techno music - was their current vision. As times changed, Stanislav was still experimenting and finally he came to a significant style in music: he creates Rata, a project that represents his attitude. And it worked: as far as Rata project is quite new, Stanislav have a has already released his music on influential and well-known vinyl and digital labels: Pleasure Zone,Archipel Flugel,Soul.On and many more forthcoming releases on other labels. Besides all that Stanislav is running Mriya (with its first release Mariposas Amarillas EP by Rata incl. VID and Hubble remixes) one of few Ukrainian vinyl labels and truly one of a kind in the whole country by its format and philosophy: not only to take part in the electronic culture, but to create it.
