호평을 받아온 개인 앨범들과 더불어 레이블 ‘Soul Company’ 및 ‘프레쉬애비뉴’의 일원으로서도 다양한 작업물을 선보여 왔던 DJ Wegun은 박재범, 로꼬, Ugly Duck, The Quiett, 랍티미스트, 딥플로우, 리듬파워 등 수많은 힙합 뮤지션들의 앨범에 참여해왔다.

지난 2018년에는 첫 정규 [Band Wegun Effect]를 발매, 다양한 아티스트들 간의 시너지를 이끌어내며 프로듀서로서의 진가를 본격 발휘하며 주목을 받은 바 있다. 이후 sogumm, Hoody와의 협업 싱글 [이 비가 그치면 만나], [Imagine]을 비롯하여, 프레쉬애비뉴로 함께 활동 중인 화나와 협업 싱글 [신경쇠약 (Fresh Avenue)], [Rhymesmith (Fresh Avenue)] 그리고 박재범과의 컬래버 EP [Everybody Sucks]를 성공적으로 공개하며 국내 힙합 씬의 독보적인 프로듀서로 자리매김했다.

또한 DJ Wegun은 국내에서 손꼽히는 턴테이블리스트로서 DJ Pumkin과 함께 크루 BACKnFORTH (백앤포스)의 DJ로 활동하며 지속적으로 음악 작업 및 공연, 파티 등 여러 분야에서 활발한 활동을 이어 나가고 있다.

DJ Wegun, who has shown various works as a member of the labels ‘Soul Company’ and ‘Fresh Avenue’, has participated in numerous Hip-Hop artists’ albums, including Jay Park, Loco, Ugly Duck, The Quiett, Loptimist, Deepflow, Rhythm Power, and more.

He released his first full album [Band Wegun Effect] in 2018, which presented a unique line-up of featured artists and quickly gained critical acclaim. He followed by releasing multiple collaboration singles that he produced such as [Meet Me When This Rain Stops], [Imagine] with R&B vocalist sogumm and Hoody, [Nervous Breakdown], [Rhymesmith] with Fana of Fresh Avenue, and the EP [Everybody Sucks] with Jay Park.

DJ Wegun, who has been a long-time member of AOMG and the BACKnFORTH crew along with DJ Pumkin, is one of the most distinguished turntablists in Korea.
