When considering my first cover song release, I wanted to honor this track that made me want to lean deeper into the parts of me that I wouldn’t let be seen. My rendition is slowed to a sub 80 bpm and driven primarily by electric guitar and vocals, giving Maps a chill, sultry, tug-at-your-heartstrings soundtrack. The track cuts deep and gives this YYY’s classic a dark and haunting twist.
