Wah

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, wAh is an upcoming dj / music producer based in Dublin, Ireland. His interest in music started at just 12 years of age, when he learned how to play several instruments such as guitar and bass guitar. During his teenage years, wAh joined and appeared in multiple local bands and this began to pave the way in to the music scene in which he is involved today. His move to Dublin, back in 2005, was his gateway to the electronic music scene and he quickly became an avid Drum & Bass music listener and fan. From there on, wAh became immersed in the Dublin club scene and began surrounding himself with people working in the music industry. These factors, combined with his passion for music, resulted in him taking his first steps in to music production and DJing back in 2008. Since then, wAh has played in some well known clubs and music festivals across Ireland such as the Twisted Pepper, The Vaults, Life Festival and Electric Picnic, to name just a few. Today, wAh is focused on creating innovative music and is constantly evolving as a producer and DJ with his music expanding beyond the Drum & Bass scene. Several projects are currently in production, covering different styles of music. From Trip-Hop to Hip-Hop, Dubstep to Drum & Bass, Wah doesn't stop surprising with his versatility and willingness to evolve as an artist. wAh is an emerging talent of the electronic scene and a DJ / Producer that is moved and influenced by everything and everyone that surrounds him.
