Respect Aretha

To mark the second anniversary of Aretha Franklin's passing and to help raise money for the UK's Theatre Artists Fund we are hosting a one-off online stream of Respect - The Aretha Franklin Songbook featuring our all-star tribute to the Queen of Soul filmed last year, March 2019. We are asking for donations of just £5 of more (all of which will be donated to the Theatre Artists Fund), for access to watch this amazing celebration of Aretha Franklin starring Amber Riley, Mica Paris, Jaki Graham, Cleopatra Higgins, The London Gospel Community Choir and The Urban Soul Orchestra. RESPECT – The Aretha Franklin Songbook is an amazing live concert that pays tribute to the Queen of Soul with an uplifting sermon celebrating her life and greatest hits including Think, I Say A Little Prayer, Do Right Woman, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Natural Woman, Son Of A Preacher Man, Respect and many more! The show was produced by Adrian Grant, and directed by Tiffany King and Racky Plews, with Musical Direction by Stephen Hussey. The Theatre Artists Fund has been set up to provide emergency support for theatre workers and freelancers across the UK. It is for theatre professionals who are in need of urgent and critical financial support due to the devastating impact of Covid-19 on the theatre sector. Their ambition for the fund is to provide short-term relief to hundreds for theatre workers and freelancers across the UK, and particularly those from underrepresented groups disproportionately affected by the crisis. We will be donating all money raised from the online stream of Respect - The Aretha Franklin Songbook to the Theatre Artists Fund.
