Pi Official Biography
As a result of the collapse of a never-ending mind struggle and the supreme influence of universal laws, Pi harness complex energies and funnel them into a matrix of instrumental music imprinted by metaphysics and cosmic sciences.
Founded in late 2015 in Strasbourg, the band is composed of three members from various nationalities and musical backgrounds allowing this equation to take become reality. Members of Pi are: Guillermo González at guitar (Mexico), Guido Pedicone at bass (Argentina), and Ludovic Muller on drums (France).
This triad draws inspiration from the reflection on consciousness and introspection, pleasure and pain, as well as mathematics, alchemy and occult sciences. Thus, Pi generates a heavy core of progressive, extreme and experimental metal surrounded by jazz and fusion.
Amongst its influences, we find a wide array of groups like Gorguts, Opeth, Meshuggah, Tool and Animals as Leaders.
After participating to several concerts in France, Germany and Switzerland, Pi releases their debut album called “Transmutation Circles” on October 17th, 2019.
