NAPPO Biography
Andrew Nappo began writing and performing music in college after his band, Grunge/Jam Trio “Eightfold,” dissolved. Using the studio owned by his former bandmate Steve Errato, he recorded his writings from that period which would become his first studio album Memory On Loan. Following a few shows, he began to put together a band to perform his solo material, and began playing clubs in the New York City scene after his second release, Letters From Connecticut.
The band has existed as a collective of musicians whose friendship laid the groundwork for an eclectic musical sound, made stronger and more cohesive through their interpersonal relationships. The current members are: Andrew Nappo on Piano, Guitar and Lead Vocal; Ian Boros on Bass guitar; and Markus Wiesner on Drums and Vocals.
The band actively plays shows all over the Northeastern United States, primarily in New York city where they are based. Follow them on Instagram or check out their website to find dates near (or far from) you!
