About this concert
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of his Down to the Well album, Kevin will perform songs from the album, and, time permitting, talk a bit about them, and about a new archival release dropping on August 7. (Though show length is listed as 30 minutes, as usual the show will go right into the "encore" period, and last a full 50 minutes.)

Kevin Gordon Biography
Louisiana native, now 25-year East Nashville resident, Kevin Gordon is a touring recording artist and songwriter whose latest release, Tilt & Shine, was ranked #2 in Paste's Best Roots & Blues Albums of 2018. Long Gone Time (2015), and 2012's Gloryland garnered high praise from The New York Times, USA Today, Rolling Stone, and others. His songs have been recorded by Keith Richards, Levon Helm, Irma Thomas, Hard Working Americans, Ronnie Hawkins, and more. The title track from his Down to the Well CD, a duet with Lucinda Williams, was featured on the Oxford American Southern Music Sampler. Also a published poet, Gordon earned an MFA degree from the renowned University of Iowa Writers' Workshop.
