Jonathan Rhodes Biography
Jonathan Rhodes (Groningen, NL) is a storyteller with little pretence. He takes the stage as the antihero of his own adventures. The not-so-bold idealist, jealously looking at unfettered explorers, while lacking the courage to begin a more simple life.
Rhodes writes excellent songs with lyrics that make you wonder. He doesn't like the label of singer-songwriter but he can't deny it fits him well. His sound leans on Americana with a hint of gospel. Small and fragile songs meet up-tempo roots rock, getting listeners ever closer to the edge of their seats.
