The Bad Sleep Well

Zespół powstał w 2010 roku. W 2012 roku prace nad demo ruszyły pełną parą czego efektem było powstanie płytki z pięcioma utworami. Jednym z osiągnięć zespołu w tym czasie było zakwalifikowanie się do ścisłego Finału Zimowej Giełdy Piosenki w Opolu który odbył się 14 marca 2013 roku. W maju 2013r klip do utworu "The Morning After" uzyskał trzecie miejsce (i zarazem kwalifikacje) w eliminacjach do ścisłego finału CyberYach 22-go Festiwalu Polskich Wideoklipów 2013. W wielkim finale natomiast uzyskał 10-te miejsce co uznano za ogromny sukces. Lato 2013r. to głównie koncerty plenerowe (w tym support dla Oberschlesien, oraz legendarnej grupy Lombard). Koniec 2013 roku był bardzo pracowitym okresem. Ogromna ilość koncertów (w tym support dla LIPALI, oraz OCEAN), praca nad nową płytą, oraz przygotowania do wielkiej premiery. 25 Stycznia 2014 roku na antenie Radia Opole odbyła się wielka premiera najnowszej płyty zatytułowanej [ZERO]. Znalazło się na niej 5 specjalnie wyselekcjonowanych utworów. Ogromną niespodzianką tej płyty był gość specjalny, a konkretniej saksofonista słynnej amerykańskiej grupy DOG EAT DOG! W tym samym czasie The Bad Sleep Well zaprezentowało również nowy klip do utworu "To Co Nasze". Jak się okazało płyta [ZERO] została bardzo pozytywnie przyjęta wśród słuchaczy, oraz media co zaowocowało ogromnym zainteresowaniem i propozycjami koncertowymi. Wiosna 2014 rozpoczęła się od sensacyjnego zwycięstwa w X Promo Festiwal we Wrocławiu, następnie wspólne koncerty z legendarnymi zespołami ILLUSION, Farben Lehre, oraz KSU. Latem 2014 roku TBSW zadebiutowało na festiwalu w Jarocinie (scena MN), następnie na Przystanku Woodstock (Open Stage D.I.Y), Przystanku Prochoffnia (supportując zespół Dżem). W sierpniu 2014r. TBSW zadebiutowało na antenie Rock Radio w audycji "Ranne Kakao" HISTORY On 2011 two guitarists (Glinek and Lypsky) and the drummer (Booyack) who played together long time ago as a Nevermind decided to shake the ash from membrans and instruments. Soon after they found the stories about music skills of guy known as Greg SK and its bass (an old member of Seschele group) wasn't just fairy tales. After the long negotiations and few beers he became a bass player. In a breathtaking scenery of so called Schreibersdorf village new music project was growing. With extraodrinary suppor of local musicans gathered as SomethingLikeStudio, Nothing and few others new materials was passing radical tests - especially over the pretty drunk jam sessions... To fullfil the crew still vocalist was missing. Through the dark months through the rehearsal walk over many people (thank and good luck to all of you!). Unfortunately there was a lack of "this one"... Whos voice and personality would fit into the band, which get the name at the time: THE BAD SLEEP WELL. There are many stories about the origin of the name. We won't be dening or confirming. Person who will buy a 1 000 000th of first TBSW CD will recieve the information, and then must die... On 2012 spring time band start to prepare itself to the proper music activity and gave a show in Krapkowice city. It was spotted by local media and the public and it gave new strenght to look for the right vocalists. As they say - it is the darkest under the lamp - but what for were the parties whith other musicians? During one of them the microphone was take by Keetzoll... who owns it till today! It gave to The Bad Sleep Well new, more powerfull sound. In January 2013 band recorder its first demo CD, then started to play live. During many concerts new material was tested and succesfully approved by the audience. We heard the rumors about new recordings...
