Kela Parker

Kela (pronounced "Kell-a, like "hella") Parker has never fit any musical mold. The Los Angeles-based, Portland, Oregon-bred singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist quickly established herself as an artist with a strong sonic identity and continues to push the edges of pop forms with songs that always bear the mark of her singular “art folk.” Her songcraft contains both ancient roots and unexpected forms, yet the result feels satisfyingly familiar and fresh at the same time.

Parker has brought her impressively dynamic live set to venues across the United States, including Rockwood Music Hall in Brooklyn, New York, the historic Avalon Bardot and Viper Room in Los Angeles, and the Aladdin Theatre in Portland, Oregon. Whether armed only with her guitar, with her band, or at the keys, she is an enigmatic performer who brings an enthralling live experience.
