Jacob Powell is a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN. His single “Grizzly” was released in June of 2020 and is now available on all streaming platforms. He has amassed over 5 million streams with previous EP and single releases, and has been featured on Spotify’s Wild Country, Country Rocks, and Pop Co playlists.
His songwriting style is heavily influenced by both old-school country and Southern rock, and his vocals showcase a soulful sincerity that instantly captures the attention of his audiences. Powell has played over 300 shows during his career, and opened for acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band, Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell, The Cadillac Three, Travis Tritt, Don Williams, and more.
Born and raised in Lawrenceburg, TN, Powell grew up with a passion for performing. After a brief stint as a pre-med student (which was cut short during a fateful night at a party — ask him about it,) he decided to pursue his dream full-time.
Jacob currently resides in Nashville, TN, with his dog, Charlie.
